Abstract
In the recent workforce management landscape, every organisation is actively nurturing diverse workforce to ensure every employee in the organisation feels that they are valued within the organisation at all levels of the decision-making process. Thus, all organisations irrespective of their nature of businesses intend to imbibe Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity to enhance innovation and creativity, apparently bolster employee engagement and morale. Hence this article aims to analyse the impact of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives on organizational performance and employee satisfaction. Significant key parameters viz. diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are considered to assess their impact on organisational performance and employee satisfaction among a sample of 175 employees of an automobile organisation based out of Bengaluru. In order to examine statistically significant association between diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging with organisational performance and employee satisfaction, a measure of association attributes viz. Chi-square test and cluster analysis are used. This study reveals that there is a statistically significant association between DEI initiatives and employee satisfaction as well as organizational performance.
